BEHIND THE SCENES: MEET THE CREW

For this week's crew spotlight, we are featuring the wonderfully talented Logan Soto!

What are you called? Interpret this as you will.

My name is Logan, but I’m usually called a nerd or a geek

What is your favorite animal?

My favorite animal would have to be spiders. When I find them in my house I like to catch them and release them outside.

Who do you voice or what is your role in Hart Beat Podcast?

I voice Two-Step and various other walk on characters.

What’s your background?

I have a degree in art from the University of Wyoming. I come from a small town in Nebraska and doing voices has been a passion of mine since childhood.

Why are you involved in Hart Beat Podcast?

I got involved with the podcast when my friend Rebecca started talking to me about it. I mentioned to her that it would fun to participate and she put in a good word. I really got excited when I got to read up on the plot and script. A dystopian future is right up my alley of interests!

What’s your favorite/least favorite/most creepy/coolest futuristic aspect of Satellite?

My favorite thing about Satellite is how people get all these body mods to set themselves apart from the lower class. It reminds me of one of my favorite horror flicks called Repo! The Genetic Opera. It’s a rock opera where a repo man takes your organs when you can’t pay for them. That similar aspect of Satellite has got me excited for future endeavors!

What are you most looking forward to this season?

What I’m looking forward to most this season is getting to meet new characters that I might get to voice. It’s pretty early on so it’s anyone’s guess what’s going to happen, but I’m excited to be part of the ride!

Is there something you really want people to know (about you/your other side or main gigs/a cool animal you recently discovered)?

I’m a big time collector, I a wide variety of things ranging from rocks to antiques and oddities to toys and action figures. I currently have over 80 sixth scale figures and more in the works. I’ve worked hard to get custom accessories and head sculpts to have characters that are unique to my collection. My most proud creation that I’ve made is a pair of custom Lucille Ball figures. I made one for me and one for my sister because we grew up watching I Love Lucy after school.
